    Hi, thank you so much for this template. I am having a few problems, I would be grateful if you could help:

    1: Setting the time does not seem to work, I have changed the

    var startDate = new Date(“07/20/2014”); //THIS IS JUST FOR REFERENCE- DO NOT CHANGE THIS.

    var endDate = new Date(“08/01/2014”); //CHANGE THIS TO YOUR LAUNCHING DATE

    But it does not seem to work, does the page need to be hosted for it to work?

    2: I am also having problems with the submit button, I am trying to email myself the user’s email address. But there is no instructions on how to get this to work.

    Thank you in advance for your time and work.

      Sorry For Late reply , We updated the solution for easy, Just paste the code below and change the date as you want.

      Please remove all code from countdown.js and paste the fresh code given below in countdown.js file.

      ==========================

      setInterval(function () {

      var enddate = new Date(“Aug 30 2014 21:15:00 GMT+0200”); // change date here

      var today = new Date();

      var difference = Math.floor((enddate.getTime() – today.getTime()) / 1000);

      var seconds = GlobalFunctn(difference % 60);

      difference = Math.floor(difference / 60);

      var minutes = GlobalFunctn(difference % 60);

      difference = Math.floor(difference / 60);

      var hours = GlobalFunctn(difference % 24);

      difference = Math.floor(difference / 24);

      var days = difference;

      $(“#second-number”).text(seconds);

      $(“#minute-number”).text(minutes);

      $(“#hour-number”).text(hours);

      $(“#day-number”).text(days);

      }, 1000);

      function GlobalFunctn(valuesmy) {

      if (valuesmy < 0)

      valuesmy = 0;

      if (valuesmy < 10)

      return "0" + valuesmy;

      return "" + valuesmy;

      }

        The code worked thank you, I will check out that tutorial :-)

      • shadia

        I need to activate the subscribe button so when the user enters their email in the box and presses subscribe, the information is sent to my inbox. The tutorial only works by enabling the user’s default email client and they can send an email from there.
        I know it requires some php, do you have any suggestions on how I can do this?

        Thank you

        • binarytheme

          yes it requires php or some other scripting language.
          Sorry, but we don’t help at this point,because as of now no one in our team knows PHP.So hope you understand dear.
